Hi, I’m Tara, a passionate healthcare business leader with over 20 years of experience.
I'm a mum to 3 girls, a podcast host of 2 shows where I have published over 300 episodes and a healthcare writer, which has attracted over 200,000 views.
I also founded the Primary Care Network Members Club, which has over 200 members.
I straddle both the private sector and the NHS.
Tara is the Founder and CEO of THC Primary Care, established in 2015, and the founder of the Business of Healthcare Consulting Programme.
With over 20 years of experience in healthcare business development, she has supported more than 200 Primary Care Networks across the UK.
Tara holds an MBA in Leadership and Management in Healthcare and is a prolific content creator, having authored over 250 blogs on healthcare leadership and hosted over 300 episodes of The Business of Healthcare Podcast. She also hosts the Business of Healthcare Consulting Podcast and is a sought-after speaker and facilitator, passionate about empowering others to build thriving healthcare consultancies.
As a mother to three, two of whom have long-term conditions - Nephrotic Syndrome and Type 1 Diabetes, Tara brings a deeply personal understanding to her work in healthcare. Her dedication to improving the business of healthcare reflects her professional expertise and her personal commitment to making a difference.
In between parenting and work, Tara is an ultramarathon runner. In 2024, this hobby saw Tara complete four ultramarathons in the month of September for Charity.
